As I sit and think about all the many times that we see God in a day, it often causes me to wonder why people say that they never see Him… Disaster work affords us the
opportunity not only to see God but to recognize Him as he shows up and ignites a movement just as the wild fires run rampant in California. God starts a momentum and it picks up speed in the neighborhood of
believers. We see God through His favor on this ministry, we see God through people that we touch and agree with every morning in the circle of prayer request and praise reports. We see God when we are able to get paid when the budget hasn’t been
approved. We see God when our
co-worker returns home with new
reports, NO more CHEMO, I’ve been set Free! We see God when we are a new organization and we are trusted with millions when we didn’t have a
permanent resident, but only a license tag to report as a business address. We see God when we must show up to work early just to get a seat in the training room for morning
announcements. We see God when people pray out loud and they have never done that before. We see God when people leave this organization and they return to say thank you for the experience. We see God when we see communities that are restored from the devastation with Gods touch. We see God when communities trust one another when they’ve never had to before. We see God when
denominations reason together and put Ezekiel’s wheel in motion. We see God when testimonies go forth and they raise the dead. We feel God when we live and recognize that it is Him that blows the Ruah breath of life into us daily. We know it’s God when we see and feel different. Just as the trees crackle, the grass pops, the smoke fills the sky and the sound of speed picks up momentum; it covers territory quickly before you know it. The flames from a blazing blessing have overtaken territory for miles and miles, miracles are happening in the form of change and we recognize that it’s not us it’s the momentum of Gods Glory that has visited us in our daily forest fire (forest fire could be eviction, sickness, or unbelief). We must see in the fire. I guarantee you won’t just see one image you may see two. Have you seen Him? (Scripture Reference Daniel 3:25)

What I really lack is to be clear in my mind what I am to do, not what
I ‘am to know…
The thing is to understand myself, to see what God really wishes me to do…to find the idea for which I can
live and die. (Stanley, 1999)
Any vision worth pursing will
demand sacrifice, risk and
unconditional belief.You must be
willing to go the extra mile for you. So many times we don’t campaign for
ourselves and the God given vision ,but we expect others to buy into the
vision and support us financially. This reminds me of the story of Nehemiah he couldn’t rest with his God-given
desire He wanted to repair Israel and he would give his life to get this done. His belief caused God to move on his behalf. Nehemiah started his own campaign, he went to the king and asked for time off, he was granted his wish. He could have gotten his head cut off but the king showed favor.Nehemiah realized he had to build and he couldn’t do it alone; he had to recruit other believers, fighters for the vision, others who would give up and risk all that they had. He had to find people with a mind to work. Scripture tells us:
I told them how the hand of my God had been favorable to me and also about the king’s words which he had spoken to me. Then they said, “let us arise and build.”So they put their hands to the good work. (Nehemiah 2:18) The good work, which means they had bought in, commitment. They were willing to give up in order to go up.
Remembering the story, there were governors in the country that had
experienced financial and political gain from Israel’s weakened state, so they were not excited that someone was going to rebuild. The last thing they wanted was for Israel to return to its original state. So seeds of rumors were planted and residue of gossip
watered the negative energy in the country. The workers and families made a conscious decision to stay steadfast and unmovable even if it would cost them what they currently
possessed.
How many times do we fall short because of the rumors and gossip; we take our eyes off of our God-given
vision and we defeat our purpose with doubt. We’ve got to stop that and keep our eyes on the prize of the high
calling. I encourage you to embrace your vision and don’t let go! Stop
saying if you only had a million dollars you would… if God gives you the
vision He will fund the vision.
Believe and stick to your righteous vision.Stop the seeds that contribute to your disbelief.Get inspired by
history and create your own. What you tolerate you will not change, what you will not change increases, what
increases will one day bind you. Don’t be bound by your thoughts, watch them for they become your words; watch your wordsfor they become your actions; watch your actions they become your habits; watch your habits they become your character, and watch your character for itbecomes
